New Products (Cricut Anyone?) and Fabulous Specials

I apologize for not posting in months.  I finally went back to work this spring and am just getting my head above water when it comes to my time.  Doesn't mean I haven't been crafting or making cool things though.  All you Cricut lovers be sure to read to the bottom!

I am specifically posting to let you know about the awesome stuff happening at Close to my Heart right now.

First I want to mention that we have lowered the price of our stamps,  A size are now $6.95, B size is $9.95, C size is $13.95, D size is $17.95 and E is now $29.95.  I love it when prices drop like that!

From Aug. 15 - Aug. 31, we have two specials going on that overlap.  The first special is for the new and improved Stamp of the Month program.  Our August Stamp of the Months usually feature Halloween and this one is perfect.
We have changed up the pricing of the Stamp of the Months now.  Instead of the graduated pricing, the SOTM is just $5 with a $50 order.   You can also order the SOTM at the full price of  $17.95.

During the month of August to celebrate the inauguration of our new Stamp of the Month program, Close to my Heart is also offering the Extra!Extra! A-size stamp set free with a $50 order total.  This stamp is a cute little alphabet stamp set
that will come in handy on many a project.

National Stamping Month is Aug. 15th - Sept. 30th. To celebrate, Close to My Heart has offered up the Pair-a-Phrase stamp set for free with an order totaling $75 or more.  This oh-so-cute stamp set is actually 2 D-size stamp sets combined together, a retail value of $35.90.

So to simplify things if you place an order with for $50, you will receive the Aug. SOTM, Wicked, for $5 and the Extra!Extra! Typeset Alpha for free.  Add an additional $20 to your order and you can also receive the Pair-A-Phrase double D-size stamp set for absolutely free.

To tell you the truth though, I have an even better deal for you!  I am pleased to announce that Close to my Heart has released their own Cricut Cartridge, Art Philosophy

About 5 months ago, I sold my Cricut as I wasn't using it.  Why wasn't I using it?  Well none of the cartridges that I had purchased had shapes that matched up to my stamp sets.  I was always hand-cutting out my images after stamping.  When I needed a shaped piece of cardstock I invariably used my BigShot with my Nestabilities.  This cartridge solves all those problems.  It features over 700 different shapes!  It has tags and labels and shaped cards and pennants and all kinds of different shapes.

My favorite thing on this cartridge is the 3D flower shapes.  I have spent many an hour cutting out spirals to make rolled paper roses.  This cartridge has 6! different ones.  The cartridge also had 3D boxes and bags.  I can't wait to make the french fry and Chinese take out box.

Many of our stamps coordinate with cartridge now.  No more hand cutting!  If an image has a red outline around it, you can cut out that shape with the Cricut!  The carrier sheet for the stamp even tells you exactly what size to cut the image at.  How much simpler can it get? Needless to say, I bought another Cricut Expression!

Now when you place an order for the Collection, you don't just get a cartridge.  You also receive 3 super cute coordinating stamp sets and 3 sheets of our Dimensional Elements chipboard accents that also coordinate with the Cricut shapes.  The retail value of this collection is over $120!  We are offering it for just $99.  You know you want it!

To sum it up, if you were to order the Cricut Art Philosophy collection for $99 you would then be eligible for the SOTM for an additional $5 to total up to $104.  With this order, you would also get the Typeset alpha and Pair-a-Phrase stamp sets for free!

If you are interested in ordering, please give me a call by clicking my cute little widget on my blog or emailing me.  The online catalog can be viewed here

Still here, Still crafting

I am still here and still crafting.  Just haven't done much posting.  Just wanted to quickly share a bracelet I made for my step-daughters birthday party.

I made 20 of these as favors for her party and there were a few leftover for friends.  Hope you like them!

In an effort to post more often, I will probably just be uploading pics from my camera with very little text to get the projects out there.  I usually take pictures but then don't do anything with them.  Hopefully this solves that problem.

Christmas Workshop 2010

We have a time, we have a place! Christmas Workshop 2010 is here! What are we going to be making?

I WANNA GO!  When, where, how much?

The workshop will be held on Nov. 20th from Noon - 5pm at the Super 8 motel in Seatac. We will be in their meeting room there. The cost is $20 and includes everything but the glue. All paper will be pre-cut and the workshop comes with printed instructions and recipe sheets.

We will be making 6 cards, 1 gift certificate holder, 1 glass ornament, 2 paper ornaments, and 2 gift tags. We are loving the design process and may add more items.

There will also be snacks and door prizes!

Registration closes on Thursday and space is limited. Please let me know at angievcrafts at gmail dot com if you would like to join us. It is also available as a pre-stamped kit (no glass ornament) that can be shipped to your home for the same price. Payment will be due on date of registration so that we can get everything ordered and ready for you.

Now before you think Kassi and I are the best designers out there, I need to confess that we have scraplifted a few of these designs.  The gift card holder was designed by Tresa Black. The snowman card, gift tags and paper ornament were inspired by people from the CTMH consultant board (can't find the originals to reference the artist!).
